Happy Birthday Scorpio! You could put your back out this month from getting your Sexy Back thanks to the Sun in your solar first house of personality until the 22nd, joined by Mars until the 17th and Mercury until the 23rd.

Particularly good days to swing a fobwatch and intone, “look deep into my eyes” at your favourite victim (sorry, potential lover) include the 1st, 11th and 16th while you can get away with murder with your long-standing mates on the 11th and 17th. The 10th and 17th are also excellent for discussing opportunities that come your way thanks to a sibling, neighbour or someone influential in your local community.

If you’re keen to transform yourself (not others, for a change!) via new clothes, a haircut, beauty treatment etc, any of those days are ideal but you could easily deceive or confuse family members (or vice versa) on the 4th, 13th (which is also the Full Moon) and 18th. Fairy floss head syndrome is rife then.

With an amazing five planets in your Money Box, you’ll be even more fixated on money than the US Federal Reserve. It’s going to be especially potent with your ruler, Pluto leaving your second house permanently for the next 240 years or so. (Apparently money is like sex: those who have it, don’t talk about it.)

You have amazing opportunities to attract bonuses, pay raises, employee share schemes, refunds, rebates, discounts, share floats, long-overdue payment of invoices or beautiful possessions on the 5th, 12th, and 25th. The New Moon of the 28th is the ideal time to makeover your budget – and just in time, too for the Christmas Festival of Materialism.

Scorpios are not normally known for being big talkers (leave that to talk-your-ears-off Gemini) but when Venus enters your solar third house of communication on the 13th, joined by Jupiter until 7th January 2009 and Pluto from the 27th until 2024 it looks likely that you’ll open up a lot more. You could find yourself talking about your future with someone who is generous, broadminded, Sagittarian, foreign, well-travelled or philosophical on the 13th and 21st and talking the Language of Love with a (existing or potential) romantic partner on the 28th and 30th.
