If you’ve been getting yourself in financial hot water, this is an excellent month to bail yourself out (and no, not by happily taking up those credit increase offers)! You’ll definitely benefit from the Sun in your solar second house of income until the 22nd, joined by Mars until the 17th and Mercury until the 23rd.

Bonuses, dividends, refunds, rebates, discounts, windfalls and lovely gifts could be coming your way on the 1st, 10th, 11th, 16th, and 17th, when you could become very inventive about stretching your budget further to ensure you don’t end up with more month than money. You will also be able to handle potentially awkward discussions around your (let’s be honest) prolific spending habits, seeing the actual point of putting money aside. That said, don’t fall for dodgy money tips on the 4th (which in Australia is the day of the Melbourne Cup – THE day for dodgy race tips), 13th (which is also the Full Moon) or the 18th.

Your famous charm will enter the picture even more than usual once the Sun enters your solar third house of communication on the 22nd, preceded by Venus until the 13th, Mars from the 17th, Mercury from the 23rd, and Pluto until the 27th. Good days to charm the pants off others include the 5th, 12th, 25th and the New Moon of the 28th. The 12th is a particularly amazing day for voicing concerns you may have never dared say (as you always like to be so polite) and to create real mental intimacy with those you care about. If you’d like to have a better relationship with your brothers, sisters or nagging neighbours, these are excellent but watch out as you could rub people up the wrong way on the 3rd.

One other area which should prove lovely for you is your solar fourth house of home and family. Venus enters here on the 13th, joined by lucky old Jupiter here until 7th January 2009 and the Master of Transformation, Pluto from the 27th. Since Pluto will be here for about, oh, 16 years (yes, just like those twentysomething children no-one can persuade to move out), you can expect that your family set-up and/or home/s you live in will be very different by then.

Use the very lucky aspects of the 13th and 21st to give your home life and family issues a sense of optimism and generosity and the highly romantic and pleasurable Venus aspects on the 28th and 30th to broker a détente between warring family members, fall in love with a home, architect’s plan or expensive home accessory or welcome a (new) family member into the fold. Delightful news that your (child’s) family is about to expand or move to a better location could be on the horizon, too.
