You could notice your social life gearing up a few notches this month with invitations flooding in by mail, email and SMS to join your mates for fun nights out with the Sun in your solar eleventh house of friends and group activities until the 22nd, joined by Mars until the 17th and Mercury until the 23rd.

As soon as the 1st you could hear from one of your wilder friends who always shakes you out of complacency and have an excellent night out with them that night or on the 11th and 16th, have a somewhat more refined evening with friends who are older, conservative, “established” or you’ve just known for decades on the 11th and 17th, while buddies who always cheer you up could be asking to catch up with you on the 10th and 17th. Yes, you may need to juggle two very different sets of friends on a couple of those dates. Your call, however. If however they invite you out for the 4th, 13th (which is also the Full Moon) or 18th try to give it a miss as you could find yourself stood up (at best) by flakier mates who forget the date, or get off your trolley completely thanks to Neptune’s seductive call of the wine/spirits/beer bottle on those dates.

However I feel that your social life might take somewhat of a back seat to your inner life as Venus is in your solar twelfth house of secrets until the 13th, joined by Mars from the 17th, the Sun from the 22nd, Mercury from the 23rd, and Pluto until the 27th. This very crowded house points to you wanting to squirrel yourself away to work some important things out. You could be very keen to patch up old misunderstandings (or, unfortunately, possibly new ones which could occur on the 3rd), receive a little gentle counselling or to just mull over your life’s progress to date. With Pluto leaving here for good (he’s been here since 1995 so it’s not a moment too soon, I’m sure!) you could feel rather driven to forgive and forget issues on the 5th and especially on the 12th when an old or existing lover could be entering your dreams (hopefully not Freddy Krueger-like). You may even need to have a High Fidelity moment when you check what went wrong in an old relationship. You can also use the 25th to clarify any outstanding problems that prevent you from moving on. With the New Moon of the 28th, you’ll be keen to spend the next four weeks quietly contemplating your next move.

Shhh – I’m not supposed to say this yet but you could be having an early birthday present with Venus entering your solar first house of personality on the 13th, joining Jupiter who will remain here until 7th January 2009, and Pluto who will give you an Extreme Makeover by 2024. You could receive a wonderful, generous opportunity that could greatly improve your life thanks to sudden insights on the 13th, and life-changing visionary wisdom on the 21st that lets you take your life in a new direction. Lovely Venus provides a late-in-the-month boost, offering you considerable romantic appeal on the 28th (great for attracting a new friend and/or someone who is instantly attracted to you) while the 30th is simply wonderful for making a long-term romantic commitment. All together now, “ahhhhhhhh”.
