November 2008 forecast

Aries are renowned for their massive amount of physical energy (it is sheer hell to sit next to them in the movies as they simply cannot sit still) and this month is no different with emphasis running in three areas of your life.

The main thrust (geddit) of this month is shared resources (hmmm – what can I make? Money? Mischief? Love?). With the Sun in your solar eighth house of shared resources joined by Mars until the 17th and Mercury from the 5th to the 23rd, you’ll want to shake your money-maker or plan some (ahem) “mergers” on the 1st, 10th, 11th, 16th, and 17th and you’ll be damned persuasive, too. Conversations on these dates could revolve around how you as a couple can pool your resources even more effectively. Move in? Joint bank accounts? Just one car? You know the drill. However, do watch out for unscrupulous types who want to trick you into bed (I know, shocking!) or out of money on the 4th (on which it is also horribly easy to explode about frustrating conditions at work), 13th (a double-whammy as that day is also the Full Moon), and the 18th.

The second emphasis is kinda fun: travel! You’re likely to be leafing through travel supplements and magazines and poring over your frequent flyer account this month when the Sun enters your solar ninth house of travel on the 22nd, preceded by Venus until the 13th, Mars from the 17th, Mercury from the 23rd, and Pluto until the 27th. You’ll be keen to pack your bags to escape with a lover or to see loved ones on the 5th, 12th, 25th, and from the New Moon of the 28th you could spend the next four extraordinary weeks in Flight Centre, on the phone to the frequent flyer people or on various modes of long-distance transport. But forget getting away or booking anything on the 3rd – just ain’t gonna happen.

You could also notice some amazing opportunities that start to fall into your lap career-wise with Venus entering your solar tenth house of career and reputation on the 13th, joined by the Phoenix himself, Pluto, from the 27th until 2024 (yep, he’s here for the long-haul) and fun old Jupiter here until 7th January 2009. You could finally(!) feel appreciated for your hard graft by the Powers-That-Be on the 13th and 21st, with the 28th and 30th equally great with the added charm of being flirted with by someone cute AND important. These are the BEST days to show your boss what you’re made of (and no, it’s not sugar’n’spice).
